Nope! The tour includes a brief training session, and the route is beginner-friendly.

Is the Quad ride safe?

Yes, we use new, well-maintained Quads and provide safety gear like helmets and gloves.

How long do we ride the Quads?

Around 50–60 minutes total, split between the ride to and from Red Valley.

Do we still have to hike?

Yes, there’s a 4 km hike round trip (approx. 1:30 hrs up, 1:30 hrs down) to reach Rainbow Mountain.

What is the difficulty level of the hike?

Moderate—due to the high altitude, not steepness. Acclimatization is key!

Is altitude sickness a risk?

Yes, due to high elevation. We recommend arriving in Cusco at least 1–2 days before to acclimate.
